Final After Effects (justkiddingnothing'severfinal)

I'm working on a revision for this right now, but this is what was shown during critique on Friday. To reiterate, this is a quote from David Bowie. I chose the quote partially because he went to college for typography/design and also because it resonated with me personally. I don't know what's going to happen after graduation but I know it's going to be a massive improvement.

The background was filmed in studio using large particles of glitter. The footage was inverted and slowed down in Premier Pro and then added text/sound in After Effects. This composition was sound based. The music is a song called Central by STS9 (Sound Tribe Sector 9). I did some in depth research to figure out where they got the sound sample from (The Conet Project)__ link to those samples and information is here: https://archive.org/details/ird059. Really interesting, but that's beside the point. I wanted to go for a sci-fi/ vintage aesthetic as if the viewer is submerged in some kind of disrupted transmission. It also implies mystery and foreshadowing to the future. (undefined but anticipatory) This was naturally enjoyable to me and I plan on incorporating video with my future projects. I'm really happy we had this particular assignment because I feel that I've found an outlet that I didn't have with the rest of design. It is dimensionally expressive, filling the little void that I have been carrying with print. Maybe it's the sound.

New version will be here {by} Monday.
