What does the beginning of the 3rd millennium look like?

This is what the next generations will see and remember about their parents and grandparents. Not everyone does this but it's prevalent. These are just photos, but the same thing happens with opinions and politics. The human race is inherently inclined to follow. Because we don't have the need to use our carnal instincts to merely survive, they are displaced into things like this. We project a curated image of ourselves, inauthentic to our true character or lifestyle. Trends are followed to fulfill some misinformed need to be accepted and approved of by society. People are observing these things in the present but I wonder if they are considering the possible future impacts. Maybe it's harmless, maybe not.
