A qualitative approach was taken with this piece to incorporate the surreal aspects of commuting via train through this diverse landscape. The route chosen was from Chicago to San-Fransisco on the California Zephyr, one of the most beautfil routes that can be seen on the Amtrak. The poster is meant to feel immersive with large elements of landscape and type integrated within acting as a locomotive through the landscape.
